I created this website to explore a question that has occupied much of my study of Scripture:
What does it mean to have a faith that truly lives?
The Bible describes faith as much more than agreeing with certain truths about God. It speaks of knowing God, trusting Him, following Him, abiding in Christ, persevering through trials, and—perhaps most beautifully—walking with God.
Some of these thoughts grew out of the study that eventually became my forthcoming book, FAITH THAT LIVES. But my purpose here is larger than introducing a book. I hope this can become a place where we open Scripture together and consider what it means to live each day in a genuine relationship with God.

Syllabus Overview
Our structure for exploring FAITH THAT LIVES provides the theological backbone of knowing, trusting, following, and walking with God—while the including the concepts that explain how God forms that faith through calling, obedience, testing, waiting, remembrance, community, and sustaining grace.
The vision for our progressive journey is:
God reveals Himself
→ calls us to respond
→ teaches us to trust
→ forms us through obedience and waiting
→ sustains us in community
→ produces an enduring walk of faithfulness
This series explores how Scripture presents faith as a living relationship with God. Biblical faith is more than accepting certain ideas. Faith begins when God makes Himself known, develops as we respond to His voice, and matures through trust, obedience, testing, remembrance, perseverance, and love.
